We’ve all heard about pennies from heaven - the priceless reminders that our lost loved ones are watching over us. But allow us to introduce Pennies for Heaven, an organization providing emotional and financial support for those who are not only faced with the heart-wrenching loss of losing a child, but are also struggling to find a way to finance the associated expenses.
Pennies for Heaven is here to lend a helping hand when families need it most.
Financial Assistance
Upon securing the necessary funding, Pennies for Heaven will begin to offer financial assistance up to the full cost of funeral and burial expenses. We will also connect families with experienced grief counselors, providing ongoing support at no cost - and with no expiration date.
Looking Forward
Pennies for Heaven is working toward providing a place for grieving families to heal. Located in a peaceful, rural location, our retreat will allow families to focus on healing and when they are ready, rebuilding.
Our Inspiration
Cameron “Blue” Gray had one mission in life: to help as many people as he could. This was evident in his pursuit of a nursing career, his devotion to his family and friends, and his passion for humanitarian projects. After losing his beloved older brother as a teenager, Blue wanted to provide others with the support his own family needed while grieving. To that end, he created the concept of Pennies for Heaven. While Blue was not with us long enough to see his idea through to fruition, his devotion, his dream, and his deep love for others live on through the mission of Pennies for Heaven and, most importantly, through those who loved him.
